How to Change Your Instagram Font

With Instagram font options are limited on the app itself, you can find a huge range of different fonts on online generators. You can easily conduct a simple font change. All you have to do is copy and paste the custom font into your Instagram caption.

In this article, we discuss how to change your Instagram bio font on both your desktop and your mobile device. Either way, you will need a third-party app or website that acts as an Instagram font generator. 

You will need to use an Instagram font generator in order to find custom Instagram fonts for your stories. Some of the sites you can use are as follows:

1. LingoJam

   

   With LingoJam, all you need to do is type in the text for your post or your Instagram profile. Once you have typed what you want to post, all you have to do is scroll through the available Insta fonts and choose the one wish to use.

   Not only are there several interesting fonts on LingoJam, but some also have cool symbols and Unicode characters which you can use as part of that font or copy and paste separately. Punctuation marks are also included as you type them out.

   The platform also allows you to upload custom fonts that you can use to create your Instagram captions or bio. Whether you take your time to make exactly what you want or you quickly customize special characters, you can use new fonts to maximize your overall Instagram strategy.

2. Meta Tags Font Generator

   Once your choose the don’t you like, all you need to do is click the copy option (clipboard icon) then open Instagram and paste it in your Instagram bio or story.

4. Mega Cool Text

   

   If you want just a small amount of text for your Instagram stories, you can use MegaCoolText. The platform has several different fonts or ways of displaying them. Once you have found the perfect custom font for your story, just paste it to change the font in the Instagram app.

Regardless of the Instagram font generator you choose, they all work basically the same. There will be a pane where you put in your desired text, and then there is a pane where you can scroll amongst all the different fonts until you find one you like. For example, we will look at the steps to using InstaFonts:

   Visit the InstaFonts website.

   Find where it says “Type or paste some text here…” and click it.

   Type in or paste in your text.

   Scroll down below until you find the font you prefer.

   Highlight your favorite font and copy either by right-clicking your highlighted text and then clicking “copy” or by highlighting your desired font, tapping “ctrl” and “c” on your keyboard.

   Log into your account on the Instagram app.

   Go to your profile picture which should be located at the top right of your screen, click it, then click “profile.”

    Paste your copied text into the box by either right-clicking and then clicking “paste” or by pressing “ctrl” and “v” on your keyboard into the box.

    However, you will want to keep in mind that though a lot of fonts are accepted on Instagram, not all fonts will work with either Instagram stories or your Instagram bio. If the font you’ve chosen just isn’t working, keep trying new fonts until you find one that does.

1. Step 1

   

   Go to your “play store” or “app store” and search for “Cool Fonts for Instagram – Stylish Text Fancy Font.”

2. Step 2

   Tap on the app, then tap install. Open it after it has been installed.

3. Step 3

   

   Tap on “Compose” on the top right of the screen.

4. Step 4

   

   Scroll through the fonts at the bottom of your screen until you find one you like. Keep in mind that unless you buy the full version, there are icons at the right of some of the fonts that may require you to watch an ad to use. Tap the different font you would like to try.

   Type in your text in the text box.

   Tap “copy” in the middle of your screen to copy your text to your clipboard.

   Log into your Instagram account.

   Tap your profile picture at the bottom right of your screen.

There are a lot of fun fonts you can use for various reasons on Instagram. You can use fonts to really make your account pop and draw everyone’s attention to it. They also can be used to stress something you are trying to say, or enhance your words, memes, or promotions.   If you’re a bit of a nerd as I am, this font can create some excitement. It’s great to use for a meme or to put quotes in your bio that have impacted your life from books, movies, video games, etc.

  Avenger is a little different as it looks a bit like a code. It’s a fun font to use for sci-fi memes or quotes, or just any time you want to let your inner geek out. 

• Comic Fun

  

  I like comic fun because it’s pretty easy to read, but it adds enough mystery to the style of the lettering. It has a way of drawing attention.   Tribal is one of my favorite fonts. I love the uniqueness of each letter, and it is just fun to read. It draws attention to itself which is great for your posting. Tribal would also be a really good design for storytelling.
