Sure, you can post your username on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or any other social media network you want to share your TikTok URL to.

But it will be easier for you and your followers to just click on a link. And getting a clickable link to your TikRok profile is very easy to do.

What is a TikTok URL?

Simply put, a TikTok URL is a link to your TikTok profile page. When clicked, the person will be redirected to either the app or the webpage of your account.

TikTok URLs are usually formatted this way:

Desktop: https://www.tiktok.com/@yourusername

Mobile: tiktok.com/@yourusername

Either way, those links will take you to your own TikTok profile.

There are two ways to get the link to your TikTok profile on mobile.

For the first method, follow these steps:

   Open the TikTok app on your mobile phone. When you open TikTok, head to the “Profile” button located at the far right side at the bottom of your screen. If you haven’t signed up yet, there will be a button on the page instead that asks you to sign up.

   Once you’re on your profile page, you can see the three horizontal lines icon at the top right corner of the screen. Tap it.

   Find the “Share profile” button and tap it.

If you want instead to get a clickable link that isn’t made of random letters and numbers, here’s another method you can do:

1. Step 1

   Open the TikTok app on your mobile phone. When you open TikTok, head to the “Profile” button located at the far right side at the bottom of your screen. If you haven’t signed up yet, there will be a button on the page instead that asks you to sign up.

   If you’re already on your TikTok profile page, you can see there’s an “Edit Profile” button under your profile picture. Press it.

   Under your username, you can see the link to your TikTok profile. Copy the link by tapping the tiny button beside it that looks like two overlapping squares. And now you’re done!

Your TikTok profile link is now copied to your clipboard. You can paste it anywhere you like, just by long-pressing the text field you want to put it and then selecting “Paste.”

If you’re on a desktop and want to copy your TikTok profile link, simply head over to TikTok on your browser. Click your profile picture, and then a dropdown menu will appear. Click “View profile”. Simply copy the URL of your TikTok profile in the URL field of the page, and paste it anywhere you would like to.

Alternatively, you can just type in tiktok.com/@username. Don’t forget the @ before the username or else, when you click the link, you will be taken to an error page.

To change your TikTok URL, you have to change your username. Your username is connected to your TikTok URL, so it must be unique or else TikTok won’t allow it.

If you want to change your TikTok username, follow these steps:

Note that your name and username are different. Your username is what people will use to find you on TikTok while your name will be what others see in their inbox, on the top of your profile page, and such.

Changing your username effectively changes your TikTok URL as well. Know that you can only change your username again after 30 days. Usernames can only contain letters, numbers, underscores, periods, but you can’t put the last one at the end of your username.
