There is no direct way to ‘hide’ your likes from everybody. However, there is a couple things you can do to either limit the people who can see your likes, and/or completely remove your likes altogether. I will go over both techniques below.

The two different ways people go about ‘hiding’ their likes is by limiting who can see their likes by switching their Twitter account to private and/or going through their likes and removing all the ones they are not comfortable with being seen by anyone.

Reasons to Hide Your Likes on Twitter
There are two main reasons why you should consider hiding your likes on Twitter especially if you are striving to build a strong following.
-
1. Notifications
There are two concerns with notifications to keep in mind:
First, the person who posted or retweeted the tweet you’re ‘liking’ will receive a notification that you liked their tweet. This usually isn’t too much of a concern, unless you are scrolling down the history of their page and like something they posted several months or several years ago. Unless you guys are super close friends with an understanding like that, it may concern them and/or creep them out a little bit.
Second, sometimes you receive notifications of a tweet if multiple people you follow like a tweet, even if you didn’t like it yourself. So flip it around to regarding yourself now. If you are liking a tweet assuming a friend would never find out about it cause they don’t run in your same circles, if enough of their friends like the same tweet you did, they may still receive a notification that you liked it.
-
2. History
There is a ‘Like’ tab where anyone can scroll through and see anything you’ve ever liked. People’s values change all the time, and what you might have found important to you five years ago, may not be anymore. Likewise, you may have completely changed your view on an issue, and/or it is no longer socially acceptable to talk about certain topics in certain ways anymore whether that be political, religious, etc.
If you leave your ‘Likes’ unchecked, it could come back to haunt you if any of your friends, family, and or fans if your famous enough scroll thorough your like history and find some of the horrors you liked five years ago. Many celebrities, political figures, or public figures in general have been burned this way and completely lost their rapport.
