How to Link Twitter and Instagram

   Tap the blue ‘Authorize app’ button. You can also choose to remember the password on your device.

9. Step 9

   

   When adding a photo to Instagram, there will be an option asking which other platforms you would like to post to. Select Twitter.

There may come a time where you want to remove your Instagram link from your Twitter account so that Tweets and posts cannot be shared between the two platforms.

If you ever want to disconnect Twitter from your Instagram account, follow these steps:

Your Instagram posts will not be automatically shared on Twitter even after you link your two accounts. You will need to manually add each post to the Twitter app, though you can do so on the Instagram app.

When you upload a photo or video to Instagram, you will be able to see a slider button that shows that you can repost on Twitter and any other social accounts you have linked. All you need to do is tap each button of the accounts where you want to repost.

If you didn’t repost to Twitter at the time of uploading your video or image, you can always share it later by selecting the post. With the post open, you can tap the three dots representing the menu, then select the share option. You will be able to choose Twitter from the list of added social accounts, then edit your caption before reposting.
