How to Check Your Instagram Login History

This post will cover how you can look up your Instagram login activity so that you can ensure your Instagram account is safe and secure.

Looking at your login history on Instagram is often easier from your desktop. It will allow you to see exactly where people have accessed your account and at which times.

To check your Instagram login history on your desktop, complete the following:

1. Step 1

   

   Click the settings icon (a cog) on the upper right-hand side, next to your name, and the “Edit Profile” button from your Instagram profile. 

2. Step 2

   

   Click “Login Activity” on the left-side sidebar. 

3. Step 3

   You can click to open each active notification to see a map of your general location. 

Most of us use the Instagram app directly from our phones. The app will track your Instagram login activity from wherever you access it in the world.

To check your Insta login history on mobile, you will need to do the following:

1. Step 1

   From your Instagram profile, click the menu icon at the top right of the screen

2. Step 2

   

   Click on the “Settings” options from the available choices.

3. Step 3

   

   Choose “Security” from the settings menu. 

4. Step 4

   Select “Login Activity” to view your most recent logins to your account.
